Driver Updater feature in Advanced System Optimizer

What is a driver?

A Driver is a piece of software which helps the system to communicate with the hardware devices installed on it. Without these drivers, the hardware devices on the system will not work in a proper manner.

Why should you update outdated drivers?

Most of the drivers come pre-installed on the operating system. However, with time, these existing drivers get outdated, resulting in poor system performance and limited hardware functionality. Therefore, it is very important to update the drivers on your system from time to time. New drivers may also include new functionality and bug fixes, so it is essential to update the drivers regularly.

Driver Updater

How can Advanced System Optimizer help?

Driver Updater of Advanced System Optimizer 3 scans the system for outdated drivers and displays the available updates to the user. User can then download and install the latest drivers in a few simple clicks. Even novice users can use it easily due to its user friendly interface.
It is also very safe to use. A backup of the existing drivers is taken before installing the new ones so that they can be restored in case of incompatibility issues. It also includes a Scheduler so that user can scan, download and install the latest drivers automatically on the desired day, date and time.

It is recommended to use Driver Updater on a regular basis to keep the system working efficiently.

Brian September 16, 2010 at 2:57 am I have the same problem just started like 2 month ago Hey, what can I do if it constantly gives me this message: “Please check your Internet Connection or your Firewall settings and retry sometime.” I’m assured that my firewall doesn’t block this feature and really sure that I have internet connection… By Kenneth on Apr 25, 2010
David September 18, 2010 at 10:31 am I also receive the same message: “Please check your Internet Connection or your Firewall settings and retry sometime.” when executing the Driver Updater. I am using Windows 7 and the latest version of ASO – as the Driver Updater used to work before. I also performed the driver update with the firewall disabled and still get the message. Since I am able to check for software updates without issue, I suspect there is a bug with the Driver Updater component.
