Facebook’s Bizarre Virtual Reality App “Spaces” – Hang out in Style

Dedicated social VR apps have been popping up for a few years. So here we are, introducing Facebook’s new virtual reality app Spaces now allows you to hang out with your far away friends in style. It creates a cool digital avatar based on your actual Facebook profile photo, and interact as that person in a virtual world where they can hang out and interact with other real-world friends.

However, currently the company has only launched the beta version of the application. Let’s get an overview of how it works.

How it Works?

With Facebook Spaces application, users will be required to gear up an Oculus Rift headset and Touch controllers. Then they can sign up to three individuals in the virtual play area and perform different exercises together, for example, watching recordings or clicking pictures.

The app is currently available on the Oculus Store and enables users to:
