  1. Texts-Good Bye

To stop your phone from saving texts forever, open Settings and tap on Messages. Scroll down until you find Message History and select “Keep Messages”. Change Forever to 30 Days or 1 Year. A pop-up will ask for your confirmation whether want to delete older messages; tap on Delete option to proceed.

  1. Don’t Keep Double Copies of your Pics

Due to iPhone’s HDR mode, often two copies of your pictures are saved on the camera roll. To stop double-saving HDR photos, open the Settings and go to Photos & Camera. Scroll down to the bottom and toggle “Keep Normal Photo” option.

  1. Disable Photo Stream

To turn Photo Stream off, open the Settings app and go to Photos & Camera and toggle “Upload to My Photo Stream”. The photos in your Photo Stream will be deleted from your iPhone, but they will remain on any other devices (such as your iPad or computer) for which you have Photo Stream turned on.

  1. Get Rid of Browser History

If you take use of Safari to surf web, then make a habit of getting rid of browser cache time to time. To clear Safari’s browser cache, Open Settings and tap on “Safari”. Scroll down and click Clear History and Website Data.

  1. Delete Downloaded Music Files

If you’re fond of Apple Music, it’s easy to find your downloaded songs to delete them. Go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage and find Apple Music on the list. Swipe to delete individual songs or select “Delete All” to delete all the songs in one go.

  1. Delete Reading Lists

To clear Safari’s offline reading list, open Settings and head on to General > Storage & iCloud Usage. Under Storage, tap on Manage Storage > Safari. Swipe left on “Offline Reading List” and tap Delete to clear the cache. However, doing this will not delete individual items from your reading list: To do so, open the Safari app, head to your Reading List and swipe left on items which you want to get rid of.
