Developed by a Korean company named Kiniwini, the malware, dubbed ‘Judy’, is an auto-clicking adware which was found on more than 41 apps. The malware utilizes infected devices to produce a huge number of false taps on promotions, generating revenues for the culprits behind it.

How it is Spreading like Fire?

Once the user installs a malicious app on his android phone, it silently registers receivers and establish a connection with the C&C server. The malware then opens the URLs using the client operator that emulates a PC browser in a concealed web page and gets a redirection to another site. As soon as the targeted website is propelled, the malware utilizes the JavaScript code to find and tap on banners from the Google ads infrastructure.

At the point when the client taps on those particular advertisements, the malware author start receiving payments from the site designer. This pays-off for all those illegitimate clicks and traffics!
