APPLE LEAKS REVEAL TONS OF INFORMATION ON UPCOMING PRODUCTS
Marketing experts worry as latest iOS 11 code shows a laundry list of product updates and future releases by Apple Inc.
WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT IPHONE X, WHAT’S NEW?
Although we know about Apple’s 3rd iPhone model apart from iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, this is only a fraction of the total surprises the company has in store for consumers. In the recently leaked iOS 11, developers and researchers found a treasure trove of details on what the company might reveal tonight.
iPhone’s 3rd model named as iPhone X also came into the picture and looks like a good contender for Apple’s 10th anniversary special release. But what shocked researchers more were the details about various other Apple products including a new Apple 4K TV, Apple Watch and several other updates that give more power to iPhone 8’s Facial Recognition system. New hardware reveals also indicate the presence of a powerful A11 processor and a USB C port instead of the Lightening Jack.
WAIT A NEW APPLE WATCH AND WHAT ELSE?
A new Apple watch was in speculation by several market experts in wake of more competition by the likes of Fitbit and Samsung. Hence, it was obvious that Apple would soon introduce a new smartwatch to go along with their new devices. Revealed in iOS 11 code, researchers found renders of a new Apple Watch model that has in-built cellular service. Although there was nothing in text that confirms this detail, the watch’s status screen shows a cellular signal meter. This could mean that your smartwatch could also work independently as a communications device.
Researchers also found renders of the new AirPods that look pretty much the same as older ones, albeit with a charging indicator on the case. ]
WHAT ABOUT APPLE TV?
As mentioned earlier, there is also a new Apple TV model on its way capable of 4K display. It also boasts of powerful hardware such as the A10X Fusion along with 3GB RAM. This alongside all gadgets mentioned above might see an official reveal tonight when Apple finally unwraps their 10th Anniversary iPhone.
GENERAL MOTORS SELF-DRIVING CAR READY TO HIT PRODUCTION
GM’s Driver-less cars subsidiary Cruise is aiming to mass produce electric autonomous cars soon.
WEREN’T AUTONOMOUS CARS STILL EXPERIMENTAL?
With tech moguls like Google and Tesla already toughing it out in the race for creating a fully autonomous car, the entry of an automotive giant like General Motor would certainly stir things up. In the recent turn of events, GM’s subsidiary company Cruise Automation has announced that they will make the next-generation Chevrolet Bolt Electric totally driverless.
According to CEO of Cruise Automation, Mr. Kyle Vogt, “This isn’t just a concept design – it has airbags, crumple zones, and comfortable seats. It’s assembled in a high-volume assembly plant capable of producing 100,000’s of vehicles per year, and we’d like to keep that plant busy.”
SELF-DRIVING CARS ARE OKAY, BUT ARE THEY LEGAL YET?
Self-driving cars have certainly faced a lot of scrutinies over safety and them being ready for mass production. But in a surprising step by the House of Representatives, a new bill was passed that would allow manufacturers to deploy as many as 100,000 driverless cars in 3 years. While the bill is still up for vote at the Senate and might also include self-driving trucks.
As per a recent interview, the Self-Driving Coalition for Safer Streets said “The Coalition is grateful for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce’s bipartisan leadership on the SELF DRIVE Act, and we look forward to working with members of the House and Senate to enact autonomous vehicle legislation that enhances safety, creates new mobility opportunities, and facilitates innovation.”
OK, ANY DETAILS ON VEHICLE?
Like mentioned before, this new autonomous vehicle will be released as the next-generation Chevy Bolt Electric, with 130 units already ready in their Michigan factory. But there are speculations about this being a totally new brand of driverless car models by General Motors. They haven’t released any vehicle specs as of now except for its obviously electric drivetrain. However, we can only wait before we can actually see the vehicle in showrooms and roads.
