Apple is set to work on Television project which is claimed to be the amelioration of Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television from the 1980s.
WHAT IS APPLE UPTO?
According to the latest reports, Apple has dug in to revive the famous Amazing Stories, which is a fantasy, horror, and science fiction television anthology series created by Steven Spielberg. The tech giant has got a deal of 10 episode with Mr. Spielberg’s Amblin Television and NBC Universal’s production arm.
“It’s wonderful to be reunited with our colleagues Zack [Van Amburg] and Jamie [Erlicht] in their new capacity at Apple,” said Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment. “We love being at the forefront of Apple’s investment in scripted programming, and can’t think of a better property than Spielberg’s beloved ‘Amazing Stories’ franchise with the genius of Bryan Fuller at the helm and more exciting creative partnerships to come.”
Bryan Fuller would be the executive producer for the revival series. It is not by far mentioned that Mr. Steven Spielberg would be an active participant of the series.
HAS APPLE THOUGHT IT THROUGH?
Apple sure is trying to be the best by rejuvenating the series of the 1980s with the great concept. Although, the older series ran for two seasons and got 12 Emmy nominations and won five Emmys, the series didn’t get good ratings and got mixed reviews at that time. Given the time change, and the success of fiction anthology series, Black Mirror, Apple has a sure shot chance of getting success with the series provided the market.
It has been two months, Jamie Erlicht and Zack Van Amburg, leads of Apple programming unit, former Sony Pictures Television chiefs have started to staff up and scout projects. They have an aim to stand in the lead against Apple’s rival Silicon Valley titans Facebook and Google. Looks like with Amazing Stories, they definitely will mark their presence in streaming world.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM MOMENTS?
Moments is a feature which showcases the best of all that’s happening on Twitter and it covers a number of categories including Sports, News and Entertainment. On the other hand, Happening Now will redirect the users to a dedicated timeline of tweets related to the current event.
Happening Now is a feature which sorts the tweets related to an event per se alike video according to Twitter’s understanding. The tweets will display in these happening now timelines. The best part about the implementation is that it seems to be not entirely hashtag dependent.
Happening Now will allure the beginners who don’t want to create a customized list, follow hashtags or don’t want to solve the puzzle of who to follow to get relevant news, on the contrary, it may displease the expert users.
