The bug affected Safari and built-in Messages app on macOS and also the Apple Watch, if you have one connected.

This was not the first time when glitches were observed in iOS 11. In the last December itself, it had released a version after which the crashing initiated. We definitely don’t want to install anymore updates that do not have any significant improvements. iOS 11.3 is definitely on our list though!

GOOGLE CHROME 64 AUTOMATICALLY CLEANS URLS WHEN SHARING

THE STORY

You no longer need to follow the entire URL for sharing as Chrome chops the unnecessary part!

WHAT WAS THE SCENARIO?

Earlier, while using the internet if you found out something worth sharing, then you had to copy the entire URL which was a strange combination of alphabets, numbers, special characters, mathematical symbols and what not! It was lengthy and made it almost impossible to share. Chrome has taken initiatives earlier as well and we cannot thank them for making an inbuilt ad-blocker! We don’t know about the rest, but as commoners, we can heave a sigh of relief as sharing tweets and other links will be easier.

WILL SHARING BE DIFFERENT NOW?

Definitely yes! Chrome has taken numerous steps to enhance the user-experience in the past and still holds up to user expectations. Now, whenever the users will attempt to share a URL with someone, they will see the primary link instead of a lengthy tracking string. This feature automatically works on the Android device while sharing the link from Google Chrome. As the referral information doesn’t get affected, it can be trusted. However, it has downside as well, that is, it removes the anchor tag from the  URL which makes you land on the top of the page.
