QUOTE OF THE DAY:

You can’t be on the cusp of innovation and at the forefront of technology if you’re wearing blinders. If you don’t have an exploration program where you’re exploring your world here on Earth, underwater, and in space, then you’re wearing blinders and handicapping yourself. ~ Gwynne Shotwell

APPLE WATCH 4 IS COMING WITH A NEW DESIGN

THE STORY

You can expect a new design for Apple Watch 4.

WHAT COULD YOU EXPECT?

Since the launch of first gen Apple Watch, Apple has not changed the design of the smart wearable. The only changes made were in the sense of thickness, material, and little other modifications. However, this year, we can expect a major design change in the upcoming Apple Watch 4. According to trusted sources, a new design with a bigger screen is on its way. Apple is currently working on new Apple Watch, with the same size as of the current model, but with a little bit bigger and an edge-to-edge screen.

These changes if pulled correctly could grab people’s attention. However, older models already have big display screen and if you choose a watch faces have black extremity which makes the screen appear bigger.

New Apple Watch could prove to be a sensation, as users will love to have bigger screen which will make it easy for users to read messages, larger photographs, and easy accessibility.

Earlier people who loved to own an Apple Watch but haven’t taken due to its size, they will also get to choose a smaller size watch with a bigger screen. So, Apple is ready to cover the whole market.

Well, the edge-to-edge display design is not that of a big shock, as when iPhone X launched, people started assuming that from now on Apple will make all of its product with an edge-to-edge screen. This news could give more hopes for better design to the Apple products lovers.

WHAT’S MORE?

If you are worried whether the new Apple watch will support your watch bands from older models, then we have good news for you. With the launch, Apple is going to extend the scope for personalization and customization to another level.

When you get an iPhone, you buy a cover and tend to keep it till you buy next iPhone, as it will not fit the new design. This doesn’t happen in case of Apple Watch, you can use the old Apple watch band on the upcoming model and accessorize as you like.

For example, you are in for using different watch bands such as Space Black Link Bracelet ($549) for different occasion or mood. Then you can use s Space Black Link Bracelet watch band with the new Apple Watch.

It is almost time for WWDC, but unfortunately, we will not get a glimpse of upcoming Apple Watch, however, we might get information on Watch OS 5.  We can expect the launch of the smartwatch in the Fall.

Until then, we will inform about all the updates and speculations going around the new Apple Watch.

NO GROOVE MUSIC ON ANDROID AND IOS FROM DECEMBER 1st

THE STORY

December 1st would be the last day marked for Groove Music for iOS and Android.

WHY IS GOOGLE WRAPPING IT UP?

Earlier Microsoft announced that it is has closed its Groove Music Store and subscription. However, you could still listen to music stored and synced on OneDrive. Now with the new announcement, rest of the service will be put an end on December 1. Effective on December 1, the app would not be available to install the apps and the installed app will stop working.

With the discontinuation of the app, the purpose of storing Music in OneDrive makes no sense. As OneDrive app has some limited music playback features.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

After the discontinuation of Groove Music, you could not be able to use the app as locker service to access audio files from OneDrive. That doesn’t mean that you cannot access and play the files stored on Microsoft OneDrive. Furthermore, it will be accessible to other apps as well.

WILL IT WORK FOR WINDOWS 10?

Groove Music will no longer be available for iOS and Android soon but it will still work on Microsoft platform, as a default inbuilt music app. Groove Music streaming service ended last year but Microsoft kept the promise and invested in the app for users of Windows 10. With the new announcement, the app will not be available for Android and iOS users. A Microsoft representative said, “Tomorrow we’re notifying customers that on December 1, 2018, the Groove Music iOS and Android apps will also be retired and, effective June 1, are no longer available for download.”

So, Windows PC, phones, and Xbox users can still enjoy music on the app. So, if you are an Android or iOS user using Groove Music, and also store your music on OneDrive for seamless usage, you need to look for other music streaming service before December.
