MICROSOFT TO READY A LOW-COST STREAMING ONLY XBOX TO REDUCE LATENCY
THE STORY: Microsoft has been working on a low-cost streaming only XBox. With this in the market, there’ll be two variants of XBoxes. First would be a basic gaming console and this other one can only be used for streaming.

HOW IS IT GOING TO HELP GAMERS?
Although, Microsoft XBox is liked by millions of gamers around the world. YOUTUBE IS TESTING ITS OWN EXPLORE BUTTON ON iPHONES
THE STORY: YouTube has been working over an Explore button that is currently being tested over some selected iPhones. The button is aimed to provide users a facility to look up various genres, topics, videos etc.
WHAT IS EXPLORE TAB?
When the CEO Susan Wojcicki made a commitment to do something better with communicating to creators about its tests and experiments and the new update seems to be in this direction. YouTube is testing one of its features with the name of ‘Explore’, which is a tab that you’d see on your YouTube app upon its success. According to the announcement, the new Explore tab is currently being tested over one percent of total iPhone YouTube app viewers, which makes it possible that you can’t see this tab on your iPhone. But, if you’re among this one percent group, you can experience the bottom most navigation bar a bit different than usual. There you could see Home, Explore, Subscriptions, Activity and Library options instead of Home, Trending, Subscriptions, Inbox and Library.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF EXPLORE TAB?
One of the biggest reasons why YouTube is providing you with this Explore tab is to offer you a range of suggestions on what to watch instead of what they have for you today. Although, YouTube does have personalized video suggestions for you, which is solely based on the type of videos you’ve watched previously, which creates a type of homogeneous collection of recommended videos. With this new Explore tab, if you have been watching videos related to telescopes, it may now recommend you the videos about professional cameras.
Tom Leung, Director of Product Management, said in a YouTube video that “Explore is designed to help you be exposed to different kinds of topics, videos or channels that you might not otherwise encounter, but they’re still personalized,”.
