Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg will team up to develop new ways of learning for kids who have learning disabilities
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, well known for their philanthropy, are actually putting their knowledge and skills to help kids with a learning disability. It seems to be an attempt which has child brain science included. Writing, brain functions, and math are said to be are basic parts of the classroom learning, that’s why the plan is to focus on these three.
Although, the plan is in pipeline. Now, the moguls are just working on gathering ideas and information from every possible field from technology to education and from business to medicine.
The difficulty faced by a person with a learning disability has been deplored by NGOs for a long time, but has been finally given a push. This project by Zuckerberg and Gates seems to be a ray of hope in the dark world of kids with troubled learning.
They are planning to use technology simulations and games which will aid family and teachers. It will also help in tracking progress in kids with a learning disability.
WHY THE TWO ARE TAKING THIS STEP?
Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are known for their generosity and this time, the attempt to change the school system could take it to a next level. The plan is not only to help kids with a learning disability, it is for all below-average students as well. The technology will help them a chance to stand in competition with out-performing kids. Moreover, they can use classroom technology for personalized learning as well.
It has not been long when Gates announced help for students with disabilities and Mark Zuckerberg is inspired by Gates and is also a philanthropist. With these two together, one can really hope for a transformation of the school system.

WHAT ARE THE NEW FEATURES?
After the launch of iOS 11, Apple has been constantly gearing up for newer features and functions. Yesterday, Apple released the fourth beta of iOS for developers. With Apple Developers Conference coming up, it seems to be the best time to launch iOS 11.4. The features expected to come out are a unified app system, a revamped Siri, improvement in Animoji characters that come with iPhone X and more.
WHAT WOULD BE THE EFFECTS ON APPLE PRODUCTS?
iOS 11.4 will bring a lot of things for Apple products such as AirPlay2, Home Pod and a change in iMessages.
AirPlay 2 was launched in 2017 at WWDC but it has not able to cope with iOS 11 updates. This upgrade will bring enhance Apple’s media streaming technology that is used to send video and audio to compatible devices. It launched in 2004 as “AirTunes” but slowly got developed to allow screen mirroring and video streaming.
With the update, you will get features such as:

- Integration with HomeKit which means you can control your home audio system with ease.
- Play a song you love in your kitchen and living room at the same time.
Messages in iCloud
This seems to be one of the features had been asked for a long time in iCloud. Finally, it is going to make an entry with iOS 11.4. With this, now messages will sync with the cloud and you can access them on logged-in devices such as Mac, iPhone, and iPad. If you will delete messages on one device, it will update on all other devices. For now, the feature is disabled by default. You can enable the feature from Settings->iCloud.
If you are a proud owner of more than one HomePod, then there is good news. Now, you can pair them together. With pairing, users can connect two HomePods to make them deliver output audio in stereo. Moreover, you can choose to switch between them according to the position at which there are placed in a room. As this is one of the most prevalent features of smart speakers.
Addition Of Calendars:
HomePod is getting Calendar support supposedly. This means it will have access to all your itineraries, appointments and meetings. Earlier while setting up HomePod and enable personal request, it shows three icons Reminders, Notes and Messages. Now with 11.4, it will show Calendars icon as well.
So, it is going to be exciting to see what improvements have been made and how effective they are.
