THE STORY: Google seems to have taken strict action since it discovered that more than a dozen applications installing malware on your devices are there on Google Play Store. It has seized thirteen such apps out of the Store.

WHAT IS MALWARE APP?

Malware app may appear similar to any legit application that you download on your device. However, these apps contain potential threats that may lead to breach of privacy and even interfere with your device’s functionality. The apps containing malware threat in it, may reside on your device or leave its traces even if you uninstall it. In other words, you may refer to an app as a malware app if it serves against the interest of the device user. This way, if you download an app that promises to clean your smartphone from junk, but later it starts to use your device’s resources for other unwanted actions, it would be a malware app.
