How to Enable Templates in Email ?

Templates are Disabled by default on your Gmail account. You need to enable it through Gmail advanced settings before you start using it. Follow this procedure in sequential order to enable Templates on Gmail:

Step 1: Head to the Settings Cog button on the top-right of the Gmail taskbar.

Step 2: From the drop-down menu, select See All Settings option.

How to Create Email Templates on Gmail?

Email Templates are saved composed of emails that have the same content in the mail body. These composed emails can be used repeatedly without being typed over and over again and, instead, can be directly pulled from your Template list. Here’s how to create one to improve your productivity on Gmail:

Step 1: Click on the Compose button.

Step 2: Draft your email by typing in the email content.

Step 3: Now, before saving your draft, click on the vertical ellipses (three-dot button) on the bottom-right of the email composition box.

How to Overwrite a Previous Template?

Step 1: Begin Composing Email.

Step 3: Click on Templates, and from the resulting side menu, click on Inset Template.
