Free up disk space

Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak

net start wuauserv

net start bits

net start cryptsvc

When done, restart your PC and try to install October 2018 Update again.

Install Windows 10 October 2018 Update via USB

Even after doing all this if you’re still receiving Windows 10 October 2018 Update Install Fail Error, you can try installing it from a USB drive.
