PHASE 1: Enable Outlook Integration on Salesforce Environment
Step 1: Log into your Salesforce Environment, which is your Salesforce account dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Settings button, represented by a gear icon on the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 3: In the Settings menu, go to your created Setup. Here in the top-left corner, you’ll find a Quick Find Bar. Search for Outlook.
Step 4: Click on the search result that says – Outlook Integration and Sync.
Step 5: Turn activation for Outlook Integration, beside the heading – Let Users Access Salesforce Records from Outlook.
Step 6: Once you do that, a new menu would drop-down. There, also activate Use Enhanced Email with Outlook.
Step 7: You’ll also see an option that says, Activate and Notify Reps written in font letters in the same menu. Click on it.
Step 8: Click on Edit. Check Active checkbox. Then select Save.
PHASE 2: Get Salesforce Plugin on Outlook to complete Salesforce and Outlook Integration
Step 1: Open Outlook.
Step 2: Click on Get Add-Ins.
Step 3: Choose Salesforce Add-Ins for both Account Management and Inbox.
Step 4: Login to Salesforce confirm salesforce and outlook integration.
Once you confirm the integration, you’d have enabled salesforce for outlook, with a salesforce side panel appearing on Outlook. All your Salesforce contacts information and mail conversations would be easily readable on Outlook itself.
