“INTELLIGENT SCAN” FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S9?
With the date of launch of Samsung Galaxy S9 coming closer, people are eager to know the latest flagship.
WHAT IS THE FLAGSHIP?
Year after year, Samsung is introducing something new. With the launch date of Samsung S9 coming closer, we are getting the opportunities to know about the new thing. This time, Samsung is coming up with something that we have never heard before, Intelligent Scan.
It is something which is not only new for Samsung but also we have not seen anything like that in Oreo beta version as well. Samsung explains it as a concoction of Iris Scanner and Face Recognition to provide better results even in low, or very bright light. That means whether you are in parching sunlight or you are out in the dark, Intelligent Scan will work just fine.
A video guide has been uploaded to YouTube to make you understand it more.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
According to the video and gathered information, it can be presumed that Intelligent Scan will take the available limited information, then the iris scanner and your front camera will try to extract an image of a person who is trying to unlock the phone. The iris scanner will work in darker situations but the facial recognition will work if your eyes aren’t focused on the iris scanner. It is also possible that it could choose one method over the other according to the environment.
The feature will most likely set to come out on Galaxy S9 and let’s see if a software update can make it available for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8, given no additional hardware is used.
Well, to know all about Intelligent Scan, we have to wait until 25th Feb 2018, when Galaxy S9 launches.
