SUPER NINTENDO WORLD COULD BECOME THE NEXT BIG THING SINCE DISNEY THEME PARKS
Universal studios japan brings your favorite nintendo characters to life in a dedicated theme park.
WHAT DOES IT HAVE IN STORE FOR US?
Although amusement parks are already pretty commonplace with most Americans, Universal Studios Japan have tried the DisneyWorld formulae to come up with a Nintendo themed park in Osaka. Both Nintendo and Universal Studios have also released a video that showcases the various attractions in the upcoming theme park. Despite of the video being just an animated representation of physical attractions, it surely looks enticing and would bring back tons of nostalgia for gamers.
WHEN WILL IT BE OPEN TO PUBLIC?
Sadly, the amusement park is far from being ready for business and according to Nintendo and Universal Studios, its grand opening will coincide with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The initial budget for this amusement park was estimated to be $455 million, which was later increased to a whopping $ 545 million. The theme park will be named ‘Super Nintendo World’, which is clearly inspired by the awesome ‘Super Mario World’ that is one of the best selling Nintendo titles of all time.
WHAT RIDES CAN VISITORS EXPECT?
The first confirmed attraction is certainly a Mario Kart style, Go-Kart arena that has also been showcased in the video. Another interesting thing are coin blocks where visitors can actually bump their heads to collect holographic coins. Nevertheless, the video doesn’t showcase rides and attractions based on other Nintendo classics. But fans will certainly hope to see titles like Metroid and Castlevania come into the picture.

This update clearly looks in conjunction with upcoming iOS 11 that brings even more changes to Apple devices. This sounds really helpful, especially for users who find their device flooded with shared photos and videos.
Other important additions include brand new filters that can be applied to photos, gifs and videos, directly from the camera app. Although these are only 5 filters that are currently available, users can definitely expect more filters to appear with future updates.
The third and final feature in this update is direct reply that makes it easy to send quick responses. Users must simply swipe on the message they wish to reply to and start typing.
WHEN WILL THESE CHANGES TRICKLE DOWN TO ANDROID?
Unfortunately, there have been no speculations regarding when these features will be available for Android devices. However, looking at the past trends, it could be later this year.
